But if one is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, and not transgressing, then, Allâh is Oft‐Forgiving, Most Merciful. ( The Holy Qur’an Al‐Imran 3:115‐116)“O ye who believe! Eat of the good things wherewith We have provided you, and render thanks to Allah if it is (indeed) He whom ye worship” (Holy Qur’an 2:172).The Apostle of Allah then said: When one of you eats food, he shossuld say: O Allah, bless us in it, and give us food (or nourishment) better than it. The parable of His Light is as (if there were) a niche and within it a lamp, the lamp is in glass, the glass as it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east (i.e., it neither gets sun‐rays only in the morning) nor of the west (i.e., nor does it get sun‐rays only in the afternoon – but it is exposed to the sun all day long), whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself), though no fire touched it. Light upon Light! Allah guides to His Light whom He wills. And Allah sets forth parables for mankind, and Allah is All‐Knower of everything.” [al‐Nur 24:35]
In Surat al‐Mu’minun, Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): ”And a tree (olive) that springs forth from Mount Sinai, that grows oil, and (it is a) relish for the eaters.” [al‐Mu’minun 23:20]

- Meat
Apart from these scientific facts, meat is very tasty. If such an essential nutrient was not that tasty, we would be forced to eat it, regardless of its taste, in order to satisfy our need for it. However, as a blessing from Allah, it is delicious. Meanwhile, Allah again stresses its worth by mentioning it as one of the foods in Paradise. (Surat al‐Waqi’a: 21)

Let him drink honey.” He drank it and was cured. (Al‐Bukhari)
